Seeing off @ the Airport

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Takes a very brave soul to travel abroad these days … Someone determined and committed to continuing the journey embarked upon as air travels pose a challenge during a worldwide pandemic.

Everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of fear.

George Addair

So much fear when we can no longer travel with freedom and ease – the tension and fear in the air is palpable. I too fear so much when there’s a knowledge that we may not get to see someone for a long long time. The sense of loss … is heartbreaking but we have to let go. At times, we have to let go and allow your love to fly … far. Parting, saying farwell – looks back once to give a wave of goodbye then not turning back the travelor moves on and disappears beyond security checkpoint … airports can be such a painful place. We part putting on brave faces.

I used to LOVE to travel but now, it’s not the same when we know the borders are closing and opening depending on the spread of the virus…Borders may again close – we don’t know – and that uncertainty of not knowing and knowing that plans can again be easily cancelled and ruined – that – uncertainty is the new normal, our challenge. When a nationstate’s entry regulations could change from one day to another, we must be prepared for that reality and remain FLUID. This uncertain times of unease and anxieties calls for us to be flexible and fluid – we have to overcome our fears and negativity with all the tools we have been given – to joyfully surf the waves of uncertainty and finding our own flow, our center, undulating and swimming within.

That is my yoga – off the mat.
