Acting on a Realization – to be selective in who you choose to spend time with… because

“The truth is that you are not for everyone.”

“And that not everyone is for you…
That makes this world so special, when you find the few people you have friendship, love or a true relationship with…
You will know how valuable that is…
Because you have experienced what isn’t…

But the more time you spend trying to make you loved by someone who can’t…
The more time you waste depriving the same connection…
There are billions of people on this planet, and many of them will end up with you, on their level, with their vibration, from where they stand…
But…

The smaller you stay, involved in the privacy of people who use you as a pillow, background option, a therapist and a strategy for their emotional healing…
More time you stay out of the community you wish for.

If you stop showing up, you might be less wanted…
If you stop trying, the relationship might stop…
If you stop texting, your phone stays dark for days and weeks…
Maybe if you stop loving someone, the love between you will dissolve…
That doesn’t mean you ruined a relationship!
That means all this relationship had was the energy that only you and you hire to keep it in the air.

It’s not Love.

That’s attachment.
That’s wanting to give a chance to those who don’t want it!
The most valuable and most important thing you have in your life is your energy.

It’s not just your time because it’s limited …

It’s your energy!
What you give every day is what will become more and more in your life.
It’s the ones you give time and energy that will define your existence.

When you realize this, you start to understand why you are so impatient when you spend your time with people that don’t suit you, and in activities, places, situations that don’t suit you.

You’re starting to realize that the most important thing you can do for your life, for yourself and for everyone you know, protect your energy stronger than anything.
Turn your life into a safe sanctuary where only ” compatible ” people with you are allowed.

You are not responsible for saving people.

You are not responsible to convince them to be saved.
It’s not your job to exist for people and give them your life, little by little, moment after the moment!
Because if you feel bad or if you feel obliged; you are the root of all of this by your insisting, afraid they promise you the favours you won’t give them…
It’s your only fact to realize that you are the loved one of your destiny and to accept the love you think you deserve.

Decide you deserve a true friendship.
Wait then… just a minute…
And look how everything is starting to change…”

– Anthony Hopkins

The above quote by Anthony Hopkins came to my attention and … maybe because we are in this Covid-time restrictive life, his words resonates with me as much as it must with so many others. He is a YOGI.

There are people with pathetic value system, who lacks class … basic manners … which is an ability to know the power of words and how to best use them to make someone else’s life a little better – however why those rudeness ? it’s ingrained in them from their upbringing and there’s nothing you can do to change those imprints …

if a person is materialistic; blinded by the slightest of fame and fortune; into brand and celebrity names over substance; discriminates by race; lacks true education and real compassion … or any objectionable tendencies such as worship of success and profit – it is not your job to change someone’s mindset and outlook who is already formed. Perhaps you can even look at yourself in the mirror as my mother said, with every pointing finger, there are at least 3 fingers pointing back at you – look at your own reflection and ask why you are wasting your time with someone you find so disappointing in character. I did not grow up criticizing others or complaining – as my mother would say, “if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say it then”. So that motto stuck – so when I run into people who criticize and complain, its toxic vibe is very draining to my energy … my batteries run out. Why put up with bad manners, lack of etiquette, and fakeness? Simply put, why put up with RUDE attitude.

INSTEAD – Let’s show up for those deserving of your time and energy. Let go of those who drains your energy with the negativity and toxicity- who lacks respect for the feelings of others. They will find their own therapy once you let them have their time to stew things over. They are likely to find others who relish “saving” and “influencing” them while you are thankfully released from the self-imposed obligation.

In the end, all we can do is live our truth. That realization is the silver-lining to us dealing with this Pandemic, where each breathing moment to moment right here is so precious and we now know it. When we experience this kind of brush with death, we treat life more seriously and urgently. We can’t wing it anymore and tolerate just hanging out to please others. We know how we want to live out our remaining numbered days.

Letting go feels good.

As for you? Try it today.
