Going

“GOING BANANAS” ? Is the news of San Francisco Bay Area have declaring a lockdown for the month of December getting you to go bananas? Or are you feeling down? Take a deep deep breath and switch on the calm. It’s okay. Everything’s going to be okay. It’s really no different than what we went through in March … just that we are … fatigued … and it’s… winter… fatigued and winter – the double wammy hits is rough yes.
Cute car parked that caught my eyes – so cute and … yes, we are going bananas?

So… this time too, very similar to Shelter at Home order in March, new stay-at-home order will take effect, impacting the following San Francisco/Bay Area counties:

  • Alameda (starts Monday, Dec. 7)
  • Contra Costa (starts Sunday, Dec. 6)
  • Marin (starts Tuesday, Dec. 8)
  • Santa Clara (starts Sunday, Dec. 6)
  • San Francisco (starts Sunday, Dec. 6)
  • City of Berkeley (starts Sunday, Dec. 6)

AND the new restrictions remain in place until Jan. 4, 2021.

Interesting enough – Sonoma, Napa, Solano, San Mateo counties are NOT included in this order. So does that mean people in the Bay Area will flock to those regions for dining? Or other restricted activities?

What’s sure to happen is that some people are going to GO BANANAS ! So all the more, it’s time for self-care so we don’t go bananas. What does that look like? Read up; stay informed; and make sure that your news source is real untainted truth telling news source with no political agenda. Trust science, the medical community and care …

We don’t have to go bananas – stay calm, be with loved ones if possible, if not, call them as much as you can. Show you care … even if seeing them is a challenge. How I dream of a day when we can again move about freely and see and hug whoever we want – that day I pray for. And for that to happen, let’s do our part. Small sacrifices here and there for less pain and shorter time to have to endure this. It’s about the hospital ICU capacity relative to the pupulation – there’s the formula that ratio – and looked at another way, this country just does not have enough hospital beds to care for the sick. Maybe hospitals have focused more on the money profit genearting procedures, and surgeries but not enough for the after-care and long term recovery care. Maybe – just maybe.
