Safety, security and … support.
& that comes from a place where there’s no … judgement.
No Judgement. We are all on a journey that’s really not that long – so, we want to relish every second, every minute by being “radically present” as my teacher Judith Lasater would say. We are meant to live a life that’s radically PRESENT. How? Through Restorative Yoga and all forms of yoga that restores you, of course!
In restorative yoga – every pose is a … meditation.
Jon Kabot-Zin shares a more scientific, medical evidence based practice what late S. Suzuki taught here San Francisco. There’s a great body of evidence on the benefits of meditation I don’t even have to go over – But, it’s true – we are not monks – we all have a regular lives to live – we don’t have hours to sit and meditate nor is it our job to meditate like it is for some of us where it is in service – It’s a service to self first and then it’s a service to others when you come from a place of clarity and peace, even for ordinary folks living what’s seemingly a regular life. (BTW, what’s regular? everything is indeed relative…)
As in Judith’s book, “Living Your Yoga”, there’s yoga for everyone, everyday. Bliss can be found in fleeting moment to moment – in meditation.
