So cute – it reads – Coming of Spring – May this (new) year be a year filled with happiness for our customers. Please patronize us this year.

The green tea latte here was way more intense with matcha aroma – ahhh- so good.

Year of the Dog

Started out quite exciting with my trip to Japan scheduled to depart on New Years Day – but for crazy reasons delayed to depart on the third instead. So New Years Day was spent on the beach with our favorite dog and watching the sun set.

Then within moments, watching the first super moon of this new year rise as it smudged orange red the entire horizon… breathtakingly beautiful that I forgot to capture it on camera. Sometimes, this phone camera is such a distraction from genuinely experiencing… so here are some photos from earlier that day – it was especially a low tide exposing expansive Beach dotted with abundance of starfish. Frocking in the waves 🌊 with our pup, breathing the fresh ocean air, I was reminded its the simple things in life, like being in nature, being with those you connect with, is all about living my yoga – with joy.

Last 2 photos are taken in Tokyo – where I finally landed on the fourth of January- I just love how Japanese people adorn the entry way with little whimsical decorations of New Year auspiciousness – don’t you?

Recovering from hosting Christmas dinner …

Wish we could host guests more EFFORTLESSLY and SPONTANEOUSLY – that’s my New Year’s Intention!

*** in a rush to accomplish, broke a glass or two which made me think ***

Year end is a time to reflect and connect, not run around in the bustle and hustle to finish up. Time to reflect and thank all that brought me to this day.

It’s time to really really take stock, inventory of experiences that we learned and grew from. Tapestry of experiences weaved into our timeline enrich our lives and are the most precious gift …

Then … to plant new seeds of our intentions for the new year. What are your new intentions for 2018?
Here’s a look back – Click Here.
