Intention of holding space of safety, security and peace to recharge… revitalize … renew so that we can shine. You need ENERGY. Prana. Ki. Chi – whatever you call it.
Sometimes that’s found in movement as in moving meditation and at times, it’s found in holding your own space. In stillness. That space within that’s crammed, stagnant, blocked, muddles with unproductive thoughts, self-defeating distractions, has to get purged for freedom and clarity. For some of us, that emptying is daily, for some of us, just weekly will do … whatever frequency you engage in the clean-up and purge, effectiveness is in the repetitions – practice.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Another great Blog
Discovered this great blog with quite a coverage on essential oils. In my own journey of self-care for restoration and renewal, I have learned great deal about from a floral designer teacher, Mari Kato sensei. Kato sensei is also a certified aromatherapist so … truly educational year learning about the benefits of aroma:)
Upon completing her course, I collected various essential oils not for commercial, resale business but purely for personal use sometime for the students and found that among all the brands and choices there are some that remains my favorite – a secret:) But I can get them for you if interested – just let me know:) There’s no shipping costs and maybe a little cheaper than retail or online…
BUT this blog is quite educational although I doubt it’s unbiased or totally neutral – and like wines, the choices you make are based on one’s taste and needs. Still a good place to start if you are looking for a study that compares QUALITY and PURITY. The rest is up to your personal likes and dislikes – sometimes, something that smells TOO strong or TOO good seem a bit artificial or boosted by something artificial ???
If other yoga teachers read this and want to incorporate the benefits – sure, why not? Sharing is not be be feared but be celebrated. There’s Enough.
