Never seen Haneda so empty. This Tokyo international terminal was bustling with people last time I was here which was Pre-Covid March of 2020. A year and 3 months later, Haneda has become this big maze with lots of hallways and booths as Japan entry is so restricted.
All the booths are spread out so it’s quite a workout to walk all over this airport – each booth area to check (1) documentations required for entry ; (2) appls installation on your smartphone; (3) testing to see if your skype and or What’s Up is up and running so the heath authoriy can get in touch with you if needed; (4) PCR test conducted there; (5) wait wait wait for the result of the test … in my case, not bad at 2 hours only because there were so FEW passengers. The flight may have been 20% capacity …
Those entering Japan – Good Luck !
