Making efforts to Pre-Covid fitness level

This time doing it with a mask on – so training even harder as you have to breathe stronger and deeper with those extra layers – even a little push turns a regular walk into a cardio output.

Then yoga at home … your home practice is ever more important now than ever before. Even if you suffer a littlle injury, there are so many kinds of yoga to help in the healing process. I blame letting my home practice slide to my recent downfall in my own health. We all know how to listen to our body and appreciate our body by meeting it where it’s at. Go from there – That’s enough.

Hit 10,000 today – Progress!

Not sure if anyone knew but I was all excited to return to more teaching then an accident strikes. Unexpectedly (kinda a norm this year where everything is rather … unexpected), I had a little incident losing my balance and had been on the mend for over a month. It’s been a struggle but I now feel stronger and more back to my old Self – restored.

Following fine doctors recommendations, I hope to be back on track – at a slow snails pace – still – healing:) Finally back to 10,000 steps only this time its flat easy trails – not much uphill challenge yet … in time, in time … no rush.

It seems so appropriate to come out of darkness to a small patch of light on this special day of celebration. It’s Diwali! Celebration of Light ❤️ I know I know we are in dark times with this Pandemic and so much fallout of misfortunes … but all the more, we need the light and if recharged enough we need to be that light over the darkness… with hope grace and good will. Namaste

May the light in me honor the light in you … May we find the source within and in each other to support and inspire for a better tomorrow. May we bask in that light of awareness… with gratitude.
