Victory of Light over Darkness

November 4th, 2021 marks start of Diwali, a five-day festival of lights celebrated mostly in India. It’s equivalent to Oshogatsu – New Year celebration or Christmas is my understanding and I embrace not only my own heritage and tradition, I love to learn and take a little something to add to my own trove of treasured goodness.

We will light up the darkened evening with candles and make some home made sweets … to share. We all need that Light during the Darkened hours to help us sleep better, don’t we?

Some EGG-LESS but “sunny” MOON tarts with Chinese tea to reset at Autumn equinox.

Beginning the Autumn season practice:

  1. Pranayama
  2. Fall into shape Yoga Asanas
  3. Meditatation focusing on the Autumn harvest whether abundant or modest and all within the range. Practice of Acceptance of harvest at any amount. Gratitude for what is enough.
  4. Rest rest rest to replenish from the summer burnout.
