Relativity – That’s sense of humor:)

Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute.
That’s relativity.”

Ow, oh… need to use my own brain:) Less “lazy habits of thinking” more creating and making… on my own.
Any man who reads too much and uses his own brain too little falls into lazy habits of thinking.
– Albert Einstein
When freed from old habits and incessant thinking, when we can empty our mind through the practice of meditation, we are really, finally reached that place…of peace.
Peace comes from within, do not seek it without. A quote usually attributed to Buddha but apparently he didn’t say this. Perhaps it does not matter. Here’s something he did say though,
“Be vigilant; guard your mind against negative thoughts.”
There seems to be a misunderstanding on that quote for some to take it further, the logic goes something like – then it would follow that to include people, those with negative thoughts… or so called negative people should be avoided to preserve your positive mind…Really? Yet those “negative people” are who needs the most compassion from self and others. Might they be just going through some struggles and suffering? People with negative thoughts are NOT negative. We do not need to guard against negative people as there’s no such people. And if there are negative people, its not as though it’s a plague (although having an immunity boost may help not making it contagious:) From time to time, people may possess negative thoughts – we all do and that’s normal – each of us, as a container, thoughts filling that container may be negative or positive, but our intrinsic essence is not negative. We need not guard against anybody – its negative thoughts within us; not others we need to guard against the most. Judith H. Lasater said there’s a need to “get over yourself”. So true.
it does not give meanings.
Science explains the hows and even the whys… evidence based body of knowledge is helpful but still, it does not necessarily provide meanings. We give it meaning because we need it. Who said this? Albert Einstein? Came from top of my head … or is this my original comment? So much convergence these days, I fear plagiarism of the unintended so I give recognition and credit as much as possible. Sometimes you run into ideas you think – wow, that’s just what I was thinking or that’s exactly my idea also! Has that happened to you? It happens a lot. It goes to show that many people have ideas but it’s who takes “action” that makes the difference. At the same time, I think “ideas” are a great force on their own and sometimes, its strange how ideas just spreads… like osmosis…
In talking about chakras and astral subtle body makeup, for those of you who do an eye roll on all this “ridiculous” “non-sense” because it’s not science you say – you don’t have to be reading this blog and just go back to the front page world affairs and the Dow & Jones, Nasdaq, S&P500…but here’s an amusing quote:
“It is of interest to note that while some dolphins are reported to have learned English — up to fifty words used in correct context — no human being has been reported to have learned dolphinese.”
– Carl Sagan
Now that’s an observation to chuckle on.
It is your turn – now observe the night sky tonight. Where is the moon? Oh, you cannot see it? So would it be correct to deduce that there is no moon then? Moon does not exist? It’s hidden in the shadow of the sun… as the Universe brings the sun, moon and earth into alignment. There are many many things we cannot see; but it’s there. We cannot see it because its… invisible to the human eye. When it comes to energy… really can’t see it. It just happened yesterday – the rumbling beneath the earth surface we cannot see but manifested into an earthquake – magnitude 6 this time. Just because we cannot see it does not mean it does not exist. Astral or the subtle body is the same. We cannot see it. Prana – Like that Prius dashboard light that goes up and down depending on how much fuel, our light can be like a spark or a lightening or …like a beam of white light from the sky – luminous – glowing … or flickering and quivering like a candle flame that’s about to blow out. We cannot see it – but it’s there. We cannot see it but we can feel it. It’s real. There is a meaning, whether explained by science or…not.
We still do not know one thousandth of one percent of what nature has revealed to us.
