Be patient and tough; one day this pain will be useful to you.”

-Ovid

a quote brought to attention by Gretchen Rubin, author of The Happiness Project. A recommended read if you have not read it already. It’s not written specifically for this time of unprecedented uncertainties in our work, jobs, who we can see and cannot, travels, SCHOOLS, education, economy, the environment, the social strife, the political divides, war and peace … uncertainties about how this pandemic will spread and end. And when? Are all anyone’s guess.

Just gratitude if you and your loved ones are safe and well. Let’s boost our immune system by managing stress, eating well, connecting with friends and family however way you can and … connecting with beauty … with nature. Reach out and touch someone – okay – with 6 feet+ social distance or remotely – separate but together – somehow we will get through this by being resourceful and really really investing in self-care.

Day 120

Check out some of these published articles endorsing OUR PRACTICE during this special time:

Of course in addition to the above for mental and emotional fitness, there’s the physical fitness – to strengthen our core, literally and figuratively, as Baxter Bell, MD, YT would say, Yoga for Strength, flexibility and Balance AND agility.

But got to keep at it on regular basis – it’s not drop-in and drop-out.
