(No, that is not beer bottle at her foot. WATER)
September is a special month and it began with a New Moon Eclipse yesterday.
Many yogis know that September is International Month of Yoga !
BUT were you also aware that September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month ?
Probably not unless someone you know is affected by cancer.
Well, so it is.
The turn of a calendar page reminded me of an article related to a local non-profit called
Kids & Art Foundation.
September is also for many a back to school month, OR off to college month – and all that goes along with that rite of passage …
So here’s some thoughts to all those things September brings up for us …
Here it is …Click Here.
As all those kids take off to college, leaving an empty nest … it’s a contrast about someone who never gets to that turning point on his lifeline.
It’s rather about going home, back to the nest, back to the womb, back to the earth, the ocean and the sky all around. It happens to all us us but when that return home happens as a child, it’s does not sit well – the injustice where the question on our lips might be – why?
Going Home.
We all have in our hearts that cherished eternal home where our soul resides. Our homecoming to that home is everyday, every moment to moment, when we know who we really are.
Yoga on 31st floor in the middle of Tokyo. Beautiful soul teaching. Whether up on a skyscraper or at the bottom earthing, we can be grounded to this earth and lifted to the sky, all times abiding in our body and mind, residing between the heaven and earth. There’s a flow.
