It’s … in other words… something.
Perfect way to induce anxieties and panic attacks? hahaha. Without numbing the senses but rather by enlivening the senses …you might find deep relaxation. But since I did not try this I do not have a Pro or a Con but sounded so interesting as we passed by this salon on the street in Vancouver. Some may need non-impact floating feeling … but I don’t know… you need some “stress” for new bone regeneration. Some physical stress is actually … good. Gravity keeps us grounded and secure. For me, going into a tank seems … a bit … scary? Probably great for those who just cannot “float” and let go naturally due to various limitations.
What’s the attraction to empty void or “nothingness”?
I know the feeling – it’s probably like when you go under water and let your hair loose and just float to feel the cool water run through the hair and wet your scalp…The sensation penetrates to bring about sense of relief… and freedom.
It’s something.
If we did not suffer from pain or discomfort, wonder how we would treat each other. I thought about this as I talked to a lady I just met who suffers from her ears ringing – sounds like a prescription for madness but it’s physiological and it’s not actually uncommon. What’s the cure? How do you heal from such discomfort? I could see how she was willing to try just about anything and … I pray that it works. Or some people just live with it – whatever condition that makes one feel entrapped or stuck.
Body-Mind-Spirit are all connected so when her body is relieved from such nuisance, looming as stress, her mind will clear and her spirit will soar, uplifted.
