Under Water?

No, you are not – THIS is what it means:

No noise, no sounds … so isolating … Yet, picking up on the vibration, the sound-less sound, she harnesses that expressive energy. Connecting… Alert and connected without the hearing ability – Isn’t it amazing because …

Deafness does not define her.

Wondering what kind of self-imposed weaknesses or “disability” we define and limit ourselves with?
Body image?
Language ?
Lack of flexibility?
Hyper flexibility?
Age?

One does not have to just take the cards that are dealt to you – one is empowered to “change destiny”. While I don’t have any opinions of SKii products (other than to see that no wonder they are so expensive with such glamorous ambassadors representing their products), I am inspired by some of these stories of tenacious women who overcame adversity.

Sometimes in yoga, I do feel like I am in water but not in a way that isolates. Rather, in a very pleasant way feeling like really turning into a creature of nature, going back in time to enter the realm of oneness – swimming and floating in ease; sounds are muffled and hair swirling like seaweeds – it’s rather ethereal … like the time in Lake Tahoe crystal blue water – sooooo icy cold, you are fully AWAKE, seeing the brilliance of light streams running through water as strands of your hair runs freely through the crystalline waves – it’s exhilarating to be so consciously alert – It’s the same kind of feeling after a very good yoga class – light, refreshed and clear-headed – that’s the feeling I hope to share.

Can’t wait ! Ayase Haruka is starring in the much awaited 2016 NHK Taiga fantasy drama “Seirei no Moribito” (The Guardian of Spirits) – first episode showing this weekend – The drama is based on a 10-volume fantasy novel by Uehashi Nahoko published in 1996 which had sold over 4 million copies to date. To commemorate NHK’s 90th anniversary, this drama will be shown over 22 episodes in three years starting tonight ! It’s going to be amazing … trying to figure out how to watch it here…

BTW – importance of capable, skillful interpreter cannot be over-empathized where different languages are spoken. One slip up by that interpreter can be detrimental to forging good will, friendship … mutual understanding.
