Self-care for migraine headaches… will be sharing few ideas after I get rid of mine:) Will be speaking as an Empath then.

What does it mean to be an empath, and why is it fraught with these basic life challenges? Derived from the Greek “em” (in) and “pathos” (feeling), the term empathic means you’re able to “feel into” others’ feelings. But for empaths, this sensitivity is magnified to the nth degree. An empath is more tuned in, more empathic, and more sensitive to others than the average empathic person.

– Bo Forbes

To feel too much, to listen too much to the voices within sometimes means to struggle and suffer…
Western medicine has ordered a blood test and a CAT-scan. Both screening shows up nothing – I am all cleared – but the headache persists – Yoga to the rescue!

Serendipity…

Some people wondered why I have not taken the trouble to talk-up my own blog by PR-ing it on facebook or whatever other social media methods I am using marginally.
(I might break down due to certain events post my Asia trip…)I suppose I just want to be found in a way I find a one of a kind seashell washed up on a beach or a beautiful golden leaf hidden behind protruding tree roots… Or do you know of a rock garden in Kyoto? That hide & seek zen feel or … other day, while eating lunch, we unexpectedly found a gekko lizard peeking its head under an alfresco cafe table …shrill scream by the patrons – crazy, yes, Crazy. Who said something about zen?

I idealize bumping into something that turns out to be a bit fateful not because I am marketing it but because, it’s serendipitous. So my wish is to be something of a serendipity of a blog. When one does not seek fame or fortune through writing, what does one seek? Weird ego-trip? Hope not…at least not the intention. So what is it? Experimentation? Connections? Practice? Service?

“Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth.”

The International Day of Non-Violence is observed on 2 October, the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi.

So, today, in honor of Ghandi’s birthday and celebration of his life of strength and victory through non-violence, I ate no meat, red or otherwise, fish, eggs… stayed on vegetable protein base. I lived on veggies and fruits and … yes, to wheat berries and rice:)

AND? I feel good. Yes, and light.

I should have had MC Yogi’s track for this morning’s playlist…

Love IS the solution.
