In Japan – A barrel shipped from France was opened and content bottled into these blue tinted bottles – so beautiful. Tasting was offered here in Ginza “depachika”.

Who can refuse? And those special blue bottles were only for those who had reserved ahead – said a lady who looked as though a cat who gulped down a whole mouse she caught – so pleased, she reveled in Joy as she explained that rule – You needed to make a reservation to get to purchase one of special bottles – she said – as she seemed to have bought a whole caseload.

The Best Treat

Gratitude!

There was a period in my life when I went Vegan for about a year – looking back, I can say I learned a lot about myself. One of the reasons I am now back to being mostly a Pescatarian is because I LOVE sushi too much.

I remember with fondness my time with my late-father who would take me out to a Sushi restaurant on my birthdays. I miss him and eating sushi helps me feel better about that grief of no longer able to spend time with someone you love, in this time, in this space, in this secular world of ours.
