Thank goodness people around me are interested in foods as much as I am! Just sharing a collage of what caught my eyes and palates… Gratitude during the tough times. Pains felt more by some than others … it’s that time for reflection where the priviledged enjoy the private beaches in the meanwhile, some of us tend to our gardens and then, there are those who provide essential work on the frontline… We can complain about the unfairness or do something to make a little difference in our words, actions and deeds to support those in need.
Yes … there is such a place at the lake … dreamy but real.
It’s actually for the boats, not trains …
Here’s the scene from Miyazaki’s Spirited Away … so beautiful …
Sheltering in place, limiting your outside ventures? Maybe it’s time to re-explore Miyazaki’s films – adults and children alike will carry the message … that seems so relevant today as ever before. We are not at all in control of our destiny. If you ever felt you are in control and a master of the Universe, it’s an illusion. We are not at the mercy of wims of fortune either. We can think and act and pray and … find our bliss within, connected to the inner primordial knowing that at all times, we play a small part in nature’s rhythmic breath where lies the natural law of eternal life, destruction and rebirth.
