{"id":32279,"date":"2024-08-27T09:50:52","date_gmt":"2024-08-27T16:50:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/?p=32279"},"modified":"2024-09-24T22:56:39","modified_gmt":"2024-09-25T05:56:39","slug":"planet-earth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/beautiful-things\/planet-earth\/","title":{"rendered":"One Photograph"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>Hushed<\/p><p>Star of Water rotates in laquar black darkness <\/p><p>no friends or family nor kin around, an isolated lonely star it is<\/p><p>Surprisingly, the planet earth rotates without so much as spilling any drop of its water <\/p><p>Striking is one photograph capturing such an image<\/p><p>Struck by epithany of sorts &#8211; blue star of water taking up residence, in space so isolated all alone<\/p><p>Compared to people in the old times who had not seen this photo, surely seeing this photograph should evoke a definitive change in our consciousness,  our awareness shifts<\/p><p>an enlightenment, no?<\/p><p>but <\/p><p>our reaction described as nonchalant at best <\/p><p>Distanced just so from the sun, which apparently is why the water is retained as it swirls  <\/p><p>spinning all the while a ball of fire at its core<\/p><p>such an impossible mystery <\/p><p>and a miracle is &#8211; this Blue Star<\/p><p>Memory of tremendous flood remains in our collective subconsciousnes <\/p><p>giving birth to the legend of Noah&#8217;s Arc<\/p><p>Yet if only the noble were chosen and the good selected, to survive the great flood, the current predicament of those children and grandchilden, Noah&#8217;s decendents, give doubts to the origin story<\/p><p>Never deviating its course from the orbit <\/p><p>Never once fallen off its course like a death star<\/p><p>embracing abundant lives full of fertility and yet<\/p><p> at all times a bit&#8230; lonesome<\/p><p>a loner is this Star of Water<\/p><p>humans, miniscule at a cellular level, <\/p><p>infinitesimal at a molecular level and yet destined to be integral to earth, <\/p><p>Seems no wonder, humans being lonely is stating such an obvious, <\/p><p>probably best not to state such an obvious truth<\/p><cite>Noriko Ibaragi (translated by K.
