{"id":25375,"date":"2020-05-19T16:32:04","date_gmt":"2020-05-19T23:32:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/?p=25375"},"modified":"2020-05-22T00:44:34","modified_gmt":"2020-05-22T07:44:34","slug":"sheltering","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/uncategorized\/sheltering\/","title":{"rendered":"Sheltering"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>Kissing goodbye and and letting go of plans, the itinerary &#8230; the expectations, and rather <\/p><p>coming into the flow, that natural flow and ebb, <\/p><p>coming into our own in our own space<\/p><p>Kissing goodbye the illusions of control over our destiny and <\/p><p>we then<\/p><p>Kissing this earth; honoring our heart like a child<\/p><p>slide our hands forward and slowly raise our gaze to a world that looks deceivingly the same &#8230; yet different <\/p><p>perhaps there&#8217;s a little clarity in that landscape so &#8230; uncertain<\/p><p>A child faces uncertainty each day but they know each is blessed with an inner compass, a GPS<\/p><p>that reliable sherpa within <\/p><p>who will guide us trekking this unknown path&#8230; <\/p><p>and beyond the blurred and hazy plateau of a flattened curve <\/p><p>there will be an emergence of another new vista that will come into focus  as we flutter open &#8230; then widen our eyes in wonder <\/p><p>We don&#8217;t know what that vista will look like &#8211; resuming &#8220;normal&#8221; life<\/p><p>What would that look like? Is it a de-ja-vu, the resumption of the same &#8220;normal&#8221; unchanged from before, before the pause ?<\/p><p>Or would the new normal look different? How different? <\/p><p>I pray that <\/p><p>We will never forget<\/p><p>what we need as much as this breath we take; this oxygen we take<\/p><p>we not take for granted all <\/p><p>that enriches our lives<\/p><p>We will never forget <\/p><p>We don&#8217;t want to forget how much we missed <\/p><p>how it feels to just walk and talk shoulder to shoulder.<\/p><p>to slap a friend&#8217;s back in camaraderie,<\/p><p>with no fear<\/p><p>how it feels to see and experience a concert, admire a priceless art, laugh at the same cue seeing a movie together with other humans, <\/p><p>together feel the vibes, the goosebumps <\/p><p>with no fear<\/p><p>how it feels to experience a being bedside at a hospital bed<\/p><p>to listen, encourage or to just &#8230; be there <\/p><p>to hold that hand<\/p><p>holding space, <\/p><p>to be close to those we feel close was a no brainer before<\/p><p>To not let the lonely be left alone<\/p><p>We took for granted those auras &#8230; those beautiful rainbow of auras we felt<\/p><p>We took granted the handshakes, a tap on the shoulder and those <\/p><p>hugs<\/p><p>We won&#8217;t forget that <\/p><p>To touch, to be touched &#8230; just to see someone in common space, just to share the same space and breathe the common air <\/p><p>To gather<\/p><p>To come into circle <\/p><p>To just walk over; run over; drive over to visit a place a person a venue with utter freedom and abandon &#8230; on a whim &#8230; before we thought it&#8217;s just money, time and energy &#8211; lack of it &#8211; that prevented us from traveling around the world<\/p><p>That freedom and abandon to which we threw ourselves into the flow is no longer our birthright but a privilege, a gift so miraculous where the ordinary is extraordinary in that life of heightened awareness.<\/p><p>To take off on an impulse to an exotic land<\/p><p>To escape to freedom and joy<\/p><p>is not a fantasy but still within in our mind&#8217;s power<\/p><p>to get up and go <\/p><p>to dance to that rhythm of life is within our minds&#8217; stream of consciousness<\/p><p>we are free as ever before and after<\/p><p>when we trust and source our inner vast universe <\/p><p>With gratitude<\/p><p>by Me-Kay<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kissing goodbye and and letting go of plans, the itinerary &#8230; the expectations, and rather coming into the flow, that natural flow and ebb, coming into our own in our own space Kissing goodbye the illusions of control over our destiny and we then Kissing this earth; honoring our heart like a child slide our [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"spay_email":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"jetpack_featured_media_url":"","_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/25375"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=25375"}],"version-history":[{"count":6,"href":"https:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/25375\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":25401,"href":"https:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/25375\/revisions\/25401"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=25375"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=25375"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=25375"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
