{"id":24099,"date":"2019-12-16T22:43:17","date_gmt":"2019-12-17T06:43:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/?p=24099"},"modified":"2019-12-18T09:44:29","modified_gmt":"2019-12-18T17:44:29","slug":"now-that-partys-over","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/beautiful-people\/now-that-partys-over\/","title":{"rendered":"Now that party\u2019s over"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-24096\" src=\"http:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/img_2897.jpg\" width=\"203\" height=\"268\" \/>loads of dishes&#8230; More and more empty bottles to throw out<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-24094\" src=\"http:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/img_2902.jpg\" width=\"246\" height=\"187\" \/>empty out into recycle bins<\/p>\n<p>Linens to wash some serving plates still to wash cleaned ones to put away &#8230; now that party&#8217;s over &#8230;there&#8217;s &#8220;work&#8221; to be done to clean up and reset<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-24095\" src=\"http:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/img_2904.jpg\" width=\"277\" height=\"212\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-24093\" src=\"http:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/img_2906.jpg\" width=\"279\" height=\"212\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A limber fox stretched like a dog then, danced in circles to finally curl up just perfectly &#8211; several spin attempts are made to fine tune and find that &#8220;just right&#8221; pose.\u00a0 There&#8217;s up dog and down dog yoga poses but have you heard of a pose called &#8220;curled dog&#8221; or &#8220;nuzzle navel&#8221; dog-pose?\u00a0 I have. <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-24097\" src=\"http:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/img_2907.jpg\" width=\"483\" height=\"365\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m so tired &#8230;feeling so depleted &#8230; Now that party and work is over<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Now that party&#8217;s over, I&#8217;m so tired&#8221; (an old song by Roxy Music on heavy rotation)<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s Holiday Season &#8230; to gather and share and appreciate this season of good will. While you want the party to be &#8220;effortless&#8221; merriment but more often than not, it&#8217;s an effort; it&#8217;s work, and a lot of it,\u00a0 but with help, it&#8217;s a breeze &#8211; thank you &#8211; Why do it?\u00a0 It&#8217;s about gratitude &#8211; a thank you and a reciprocation; to give and to receive the &#8220;energy&#8221;, to exchange and create vibe.<\/p>\n<p>Then really taking the time to rest so that we can again be the light &#8230; to glow. To put a smile on someone&#8217;s face:) For some, this time is especially hard, but to honor the memories, relish in the remembrance, and while reminiscing the past and people we miss, focusing on the notion of &#8220;loss&#8221; with a different mindset; re-framing the experiences we shared with that special person as a &#8220;gift&#8221; that lives on today, this very moment.\u00a0 Always coming back by shifting our perspectives to think about the gift of this present moment, what&#8217;s now at this moment as we gather for a collective reboot.<\/p>\n<p>Filled with Gratitude &#8230; and like a dog, curling up to feel the shift &#8230; the change within.
