She&#8217;s holding up a book entitled Foundation of Aryuveda:  Practice even beginner students and easily understand and put into practice.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_2177.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13833\" src=\"http:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_2177.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2177\" width=\"524\" height=\"393\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_2177.jpg 524w, https:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_2177-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_2177-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 524px) 100vw, 524px\" \/><\/a>She modeled for this wonderful book in Japanese titled &#8220;Basics of Ayurveda&#8221;. \u00a0So really lovely to review again (to find out how \u00a0little I know) Ayurveda&#8230; Lovely teacher &#8211; loved her sequence based on the principles of Ahimsa. \u00a0I too hope to incorporate the wisdom of Ayurveda into my own heritage, then take it to the day to day for self-care. \u00a0Ayurveda worked well in India and as an export to Japan or anywhere else in the world, it is adapted and modified in the land of its adoption.<\/p>\n<p>This weekend was all about Ayurveda with Durga Leela, an amazing down to earth teacher of Ayurveda. \u00a0She inspired me to take better care of myself so I may take better care of others with teachings infused with humor &#8230; so much laughter. \u00a0So much learning. \u00a0So glad to show up. \u00a0Durga is another great teacher. \u00a0So blessed to be in company of higher minds and spirits.<\/p>\n<p>So much learned but basically, serve. \u00a0Act by serving but for self-care, distance yourself from toxins including people with toxic minds and lifestyle.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Taeko-sensei in Tokyo.
