We are all on a journey that&#8217;s really not that long &#8211; so, we want to relish every second, every minute by being &#8220;radically present&#8221; as my teacher Judith Lasater would say.  We are meant to live a life that&#8217;s radically PRESENT.  How? Through Restorative Yoga and all forms of yoga that restores you, of course!<\/p>\n<p>In restorative yoga &#8211; every pose is a &#8230; meditation.<br \/>\nJon Kabot-Zin shares a more scientific, medical evidence based practice what late S. Suzuki taught here San Francisco.  There&#8217;s a great body of evidence on the benefits of meditation I don&#8217;t even have to go over &#8211; But, it&#8217;s true &#8211; we are not monks &#8211; we all have a regular lives to live &#8211; we don&#8217;t have hours to sit and meditate nor is it our job to meditate like it is for some of us where it is in service &#8211; It&#8217;s a service to self first and then it&#8217;s a service to others when you come from a place of clarity and peace, even for ordinary folks living what&#8217;s seemingly a regular life. (BTW, what&#8217;s regular?  everything is indeed relative&#8230;)<br \/>\nAs in Judith&#8217;s book, &#8220;Living Your Yoga&#8221;, there&#8217;s yoga for everyone, everyday.
