It&#8217;s genetically programmed for survival &#8211; the fact that you are here means it&#8217;s evolved for you to be the fittest to survive &#8211; with good intentions to keep you safe and healthy &#8211; just pay attention to the inner wisdom and heed it.  There&#8217;s no need for the body to be &#8220;whipped&#8221; into shape.  No need to &#8220;beat yourself&#8221; up to be better &#8211; Who says &#8220;no pain, no gain&#8221;? &#8211; not in Judith&#8217;s teaching.  Her mantra quote is so lovely (and funny:):  &#8220;No pain, no pain&#8221; &#8211; from Living Your Yoga, a gem of a book&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#038; as Maty Ezraty says:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Keep in mind that when you practice yoga, you are not practicing to improve yourself.  You are perfect.
