{"id":10593,"date":"2015-06-18T16:17:58","date_gmt":"2015-06-18T23:17:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/?p=10593"},"modified":"2015-06-20T21:34:31","modified_gmt":"2015-06-21T04:34:31","slug":"10593","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/wagayoga.com\/blog\/beautiful-people\/10593\/","title":{"rendered":"Lady Gaga, on Setting Limits?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Soooo I don&#8217;t even like Lady Gaga but &#8230; rather enraptured by this idea &#8230;  about this concept of being &#8220;limitless&#8221;; &#8220;boundless&#8221; and that does not have to be about performance art but about &#8230; maybe giving and accepting love; about loving Self and others unconditionally more &#8211; &#8220;we are our most terrifying monster and she&#8217;s not scared of herself&#8221; because &#8220;she trusts herself.&#8221;  If only.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not the kind of admiration I hold for people I want to be like nor do I aspire to live like them &#8211; no, it&#8217;s not that at all. Rather, just marveling as though you would some piece of over-the-top art form at a museum &#8211; you don&#8217;t want to take it home with you or anything &#8211; you don&#8217;t want to own it, no, not at all.  BUT you learn from it. Something about human nature &#8230; beauty &#8230; truth in midst of the mud, so to speak, in the midst of the darkness, the ugliness, the distasteful or even just &#8230; ordinary. It&#8217;s become a cliche but to find the extraordinary in the ordinary&#8230; how?<\/p>\n<p>Trying to find a little nugget of inspiration towards my New Moon intention of overcoming fears &#8211; to not hold back so much as coached by my &#8220;student&#8221;:)<br \/>\nNo, that intention does not mean I am going to go bungee jumping or go out totally unguarded, &#8220;asking for it&#8221; this New Moon week &#8211; not at all &#8211; but it just means I say &#8220;YES&#8221; more rather than &#8220;no&#8221; to what comes to my door &#8211; means that we &#8220;surrender&#8221; our ego to the higher self by freeing ourselves from fears and anxieties we created for ourselves.  <\/p>\n<p>A lot of graduations this season &#8211; for some young adults, it might be intimidating to go off into the big wide world but trusting in Self and being receptive to the possibilities &#8230; full of dreams:) we have to be brave and face our own &#8220;monsters&#8221;, our self-imposed limitations and fears, in order to overcome them.
