Tomorrow !
At Marina Green from 9:30am – 2pm – Yoga * Meditation * Kirtan with Jai Uttal:)
I cannot go but since the location is the same, sharing some sights from an event that took place at the same place only a month ago – these are photos from Wanderlust SF last month With MC Yogi leading … it’s weird that you can totally follow him each breath per movement at a time. He is so good about always elevating Amanda … by talking up up about her:) Hope they stay strong … Here’s their coverage in the Global Glue Project video I contributed (via KickStart) towards since my wonderful yoga teacher and photographer, Brenna Geehan is the videographer. The Project is a series of documentary clips on many couples, to explore their enduring relationships…those with staying power in this world of impermanence:
Click Here. All the couples featured are beautiful examples of enduring connections … that weathered the storm. There’s a Japanese couple who has been together for almost 50 years… it’s so very cute; no kiss in public of course – I love you is by just having coffee – it’s unspoken.
Marina Green in San Francisco – where International Yoga Day event will take place tomorrow –
Was there maybe a month ago for another yoga event called the “Mindful Triathlon” of yoga, meditation and a run – the “tri” – Wanderlust SF I volunteered at – just helping out at their Wanderlust store … and got to stay for Yoga on the green … it was nice under the blue sky as the morning fog had lifted:) as I am sure tomorrow’s event is sure to be. Jai Uttal is performing … Kirtan so we can all sing together:)
Stones have meanings and mala beads you can make with that in mind … hand made is best so you can custom make them based on one’s dosha, season or the mood.
The volunteer T-shirt provided was so big … cut to size better … really love this sea blue color… it’s so … SUMMER:)
BTW – Here’s the card I drew, when we were on the topic of the third eye, or the 6th chakra …with my lovely Reiki teacher/friend, whose name means “Joy” or “Happy”:) No wonder she’s a kindred spirit.
Do not limit yourself? We create our own limits to protect ourselves from hurt … call it the survival skill … tempered with wisdom, finding that limitless place that’s still safe … that’s my yoga practice.
