IAYT Code of Ethics & Professional Reponsibilities (4/12/2016 rev 9/1/20)

As a part of a requirement to renew my IAYT certification (every 3 years!) I am now about to take a quiz on Code of Ethics and Scope of Practice. While I review them I am reminded so much why I wanted to pursue this area of yoga in the first place…

It’s because practice of yoga for me has been so medicinal, the ability to uncover its healing power I so wanted to share and spread. Joy is something to be spread – like gooey melted melded jam spread on warm buttered toast to share share share and not to simply keep 🙂 That joy of transformation is greater when shared as with any great gift. Even in baby steps even in atomic minuscule way, yoga serves us in so many helpful ways.

Gratitude for this opportunity to serve in ways no matter so small and invisible, reverence so felt.
